Veteran’s Memorial Community Center, 313 W. Tunnell St., Santa Maria
Learn about Japanese culture at this annual Buddhist observance that honors one’s ancestors. The event will feature traditional dancing, Bonsai and martial arts demonstrations, taiko drumming, Japanese food, and an arts and crafts area for kids with Origami, face painting and more.
